摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated paper for offset rotary printing that can effectively suppress generation of wavy wrinkles in offset printing.SOLUTION: The coated paper for offset rotary printing has a base paper and a coating layer laminated on the base paper and containing a pigment and an adhesive. Silica composite heavy calcium carbonate particles as a filler are internally added to the base paper. The silica composite heavy calcium carbonate particle contains adsorbed water volatilizing at 110°C and bound water volatilizing upon heating from 110°C up to 525°C and the content of bound water in the silica composite heavy calcium carbonate particle is not less than 0.1 mass% to not more than 1 mass%. It is preferable that the silica composite heavy calcium carbonate particle has an average particle size (D50) of not less than 2μm to not more than 15μm as measured by a laser diffraction scattering method; the base paper has an ash content of not less than 5% to not more than 16%; and the base paper has a density of not less than 0.7 g/cmto not more than 1.5 g/cm.</p>
