PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a circuit that prolongs the life of a power-factor correction circuit when a high-capacity power-factor correction circuit is required as in an electric vehicle charging device.SOLUTION: Provided is a power-factor correction circuit correcting a power factor of an AC voltage. A power-factor correction unit corrects a power factor of an AC voltage. A smoothing unit smooths a power-factor-corrected voltage, and includes a film capacitor and a plurality of electrolytic capacitors. A rectified voltage is applied to one end of an inductor. One end of a switch is coupled to the other end of the inductor and the other end of the switch is grounded. One end of a diode is connected to the one end of the switch. One end of the film capacitor is coupled to the other end of the diode and the other end of the film capacitor is grounded. The electrolytic capacitors are parallely coupled to the film capacitor. |
