PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of crosstalk between optical channels in a wavelength division multiplex transmission system.SOLUTION: An optical fiber transmission system, using a carrier wave phase synchronization in the wavelength division multiplex transmission system, includes: a plurality of optical transmitters 1; a multiplexer, having the plurality of optical transmitters 1 connected to the input side, for multiplexing in a state of carrier phase synchronization; an optical fiber 3 for transmitting a wavelength-division-multiplexed carrier wave multiplexed by the multiplexer; an amplifier repeater 4 connected in the middle of the optical fiber 3 to amplify the wavelength-division-multiplexed carrier wave; and an optical receiver 6 connected to the terminal side of the optical fiber 3. The amplifier repeater 4 is a phase-sensitive optical amplifier repeater, and performs optical phase adjustment on the basis of each relay amplification section. |
