PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass polarizer having a wide wavelength band.SOLUTION: A glass polarizer 1 comprises: glass material 10; a plurality of polarization layers 11a and 11b. The plurality of polarization layers 11a and 11b is arranged on the glass material 10 respectively. The plurality of polarization layers 11a and 11b comprises a plurality of metal containing particles 12a and 12b oriented along one direction respectively. The plurality of polarization layers 11a and 11b comprises a plurality of kinds of polarization layers where at least one of the length and aspect ratio of the metal containing particles is different from each other.
