PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of preventing deformation of a platen roller, and a program.SOLUTION: A printer makes paper sandwiched between a print head and a platen roller and makes printing performed on the paper by the print head. The printer comprises determination means for determining whether or not the printer is in the printing state of performing the printing, and control means for rotating the platen roller by a predetermined amount at predetermined time intervals, while the determination means determines that the printer is in a nonprinting state. |
