PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress starting of an information processing apparatus and supply power from a device connection port even in a state in which the information processing apparatus is not started.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus includes: a power supply circuit; a system control circuit; an information processing unit; a device connection port; a first switch through which the power supply circuit turns on the system control circuit; a second switch through which the power supply circuit turns on the device connection port; and a power supply control circuit that supplies electric power from the power supply circuit to the device connection port and controls the system control circuit to start the information processing unit if the system control circuit is turned on through the first switch, and that suppresses the system control circuit from starting the information processing circuit and supplies the electric power from the power supply circuit to the device connection port if the device connection port is turned on through the second switch. |
