PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of acquiring correspondence between laser sources and sensor signals of laser beams emitted from the laser sources.SOLUTION: A control unit of an optical scanner executes: first light-emitting processing which emits a first light beam in a first pattern (LD1) which repeats a period TS formed of a first time T1 where a voltage value of a signal BD output from a sensor is a first level LV1 and a second time T2 where the voltage value is a second level LV2 lower than the first level, and being shorter than a maximum incident time Tmax that a first light beam is continuously made incident on the sensor; second light-emitting processing which emits a second light beam in a second pattern (LD2) different from the first pattern and having a time where the voltage value of the signal output from the sensor is a third level LV3 higher than the second level LV2; and determination processing which determines whether the sensor signal BD is output according to any of the first or second pattern.
