PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transfer pipe excellent in heat transfer and preventing leakage of fluid for a long time.SOLUTION: A heat transfer pipe 10 having a convexoconcave portion 12 in a pipe inner surface 10B is formed by winding a metal plate 11 having the convexoconcave portion 12 into a cylindrical shape and joining an overlapped portion. An outer surface of the cylindrically wound metal plate 11 has an outward step face 14A formed between an end portion 11C in the inside in the winding direction and an end portion 11D in the outside in the winding direction. The end portion 11D in the outside in the winding direction is butted and joined to the outer step face 14A.
