<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system including a plurality of MFP devices having a wireless LAN access point capable of detecting a position of a wireless LAN terminal, while achieving power saving.SOLUTION: An information processing system includes a wireless communication terminal 109, a plurality of information processing devices 101 to 104 having access points 101a to 104a, and a management device 105. The information processing devices 101 to 104 comprise: detection means for detecting energization states of the access points 101a to 104a to transmit the energization states to the management device; and control means for switching modes of the access points 101a to 104a. The management device 105 comprises transmission means for transmitting a mode switching signal. The information processing system detects a position of the wireless communication terminal 109, by the transmission means's transmitting the mode switching signal to switch a predetermined number or more of access points to the standby mode and the control means's switching the access points to the standby mode.</p> |
