PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contactor capable of extending a period maintaining gas pressure in a housing.SOLUTION: The contactor includes: a fixed contact 10; a movable contact 11 movable between a close position coming into contact with the fixed contact 10 and an open position separated away from the fixed contact 10; a housing 13 that stores the fixed contact 10 and the movable contact 11 and forms an air tight space therein; and a gas release member 14 that releases a gas stored in the housing 13.
