<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat capable of effectively assuring a movement stroke for a passenger to move to a rear side along to and fro direction of a vehicle at a time of rear collision of a vehicle.SOLUTION: Relating to a vehicle seat 10, in a seat back shell 18, an opening part 22A is provided at a portion facing a waist part of a passenger P. Thus, as shown with a two-dot line in a figure, at the time of rear collision of a vehicle, when passenger P moves to a rear side in to and fro direction of the vehicle in the seat back shell 18 under inertial force, a movement stroke of the passenger P to a rear side along to and fro direction of the vehicle (direction of arrow A) is assured because a waist part of the passenger P enters the opening part 22A.</p> |
