<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device capable of predicting a service life of a nozzle head, with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A nozzle head comprises a plurality of piezoelectric elements. The piezoelectric elements perform an ejecting action of ejecting ink droplets through nozzles and an oscillating action that oscillates the meniscus of ink in the nozzles but does not eject ink droplets through the nozzles, by applying pressure to the ink in the plurality of nozzles. Ejection times-counting means 752 counts the number of times for respective ejecting actions of the plurality of nozzles. Oscillation times-counting means 755 counts the number of times for respective oscillating actions of the plurality of nozzles. Head life predicting means 756 predicts a service life of the nozzle head on the basis of the counted number of times by the ejection times-counting means and the counted number of times by the oscillation times-counting means.</p> |
