Provided is a roll-shaped medical adhesive tape wherein an adhesive layer is formed on one surface of a support medium, which is rolled up into a roll shape. The support medium comprises a nonwoven fabric that is formed from synthetic resin fibers and has a thickness between 50 µm and 200 µm. Using thermic boring, recessed areas are formed in straight lines in the width direction, perpendicular to the direction the tape is rolled in, on the back surface of the support medium, said back surface being the side opposite the adhesive layer. The depth of the recessed areas is between 5% and 60% of the thickness of the support medium, and the spacing between the recessed areas is between 0.5 mm and 1.5 mm. The adhesive tape is rolled into a roll shape such that the adhesive layer contacts the back surface of the support medium. |
