<p>The present invention relates to an image sensor and, more specifically, to an image sensor for generating depth information. The image sensor for generating depth information according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: unit pixels for outputting an image current and a depth current by performing photoelectric convention of natural light which is an incident light in an image information detection step, natural light which is an incident light in a depth information detection unit, and auxiliary light; integration transistors for controlling detection time when the image current and the depth current are outputted from the unit pixels; first capacitors which are charged by the image current; second capacitors which are charged by the depth current; amplifiers for outputting an image voltage signal by amplifying the voltage of the first capacitor; and comparators for outputting a control signal to generate a digital depth code by comparing the voltage of the first capacitor with the voltage of the second capacitor. Unit pixels located in the same row perform the image information detection step and the depth information detection step consecutively.</p> |
