<p>The present invention allows a user to easily register a non-registered syringe by providing a syringe pump and an auto-calibration method, wherein the syringe pump comprises: an input unit for inputting the volume of a liquid with which a syringe is filled; a data unit storing syringe data according to the input volume and a plunger travel distance, wherein the syringe data and the plunger travel distance are previously set; a driving unit for pressing a plunger of the syringe to move the same in response to a control signal; a control unit for controlling the operation of the driving unit according to the syringe data; a distance measurement unit for measuring the travel distance of the plunger moved by the driving unit; and an auto-calibration unit for auto-calibrating the syringe data based on the error rate between the preset plunger travel distance as a reference value and the plunger travel distance measured by the distance measurement unit.</p> |
