<p>The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an isotope using a CANDU type reactor and, more particularly, to a method for manufacturing an isotope using a CANDU type reactor capable of mass-producing Co-60 by converting Co-59 that is a radioactive isotope into the Co-60 by emitting neutrons by injecting a bundle including an isotope target with the Co-50 (or Mo-99) instead of a nuclear fuel pellet of natural uranium into a part of a nuclear fuel channel of the CANDU type reactor composed of 380 nuclear fuel channels.</p> |
