According to an embodiment of the present invention, a display driver includes: a memory in which image signals are stored; a receiving unit which receives an image signal from a host processor and a first control signal corresponding to the image signal; an image output unit which processes the image signal stored in the memory and outputs a result to a display unit to display an image on the display unit including a plurality of pixels; a control unit which controls the image output unit according to an image mode to display an image corresponding to the image signal on the display unit; and an image mode selection unit which detects the first control signal and a second control signal generated by the control unit and changes the image mode using the first and the second control signal.
