<p>An apparatus for transporting and for transferring substantially non-rigid cookie shaped bodies onto a heated surface such as, for example, a baking belt of a cookie (biscuit) baking machine. The apparatus has a circulating, driven belt-shaped conveyor belt, which is guided around at least one deflecting roller, around a drive roller and, in the vicinity of the heated surface, around a transfer edge. The conveyor belt is a discontinuous belt, in particular a discontinuous metal belt, and the conveyor belt is substantially resistance-strain relieved at the starting region of the transfer edge when the conveyor belt is moving.</p> |
