PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fully aromatic polyamide crimped yarn having a high tensile elongation and a low tensile elastic modulus and its production method.SOLUTION: A fully aromatic polyamide yarn in a wet state after a water washing step is heat-treated in a specified temperature range. More specifically, the yarn in a wet state after the water washing step is dried at 50-400°C.
