This portable terminal is provided with: a plurality of antenna inputs; a selecting section for selecting one of the antenna inputs; a metal chassis to be used for the purpose of holding a display panel and mechanical strength of the panel; and a PIFA-type antenna, which has a resonance pattern, and a coaxial cable having an external conductor exposed therefrom by being provided with a film-removed portion at a part of the cable, said PIFA-type antenna having the film-removed portion fixed close to an upper end of the metal chassis. |
