<p>A technique for media personalization determines a specific ranking for each media asset and at least one category for each of the media assets. The categories can be based on genre, actor, director, or other factors either generated by a user, a content provider, or other sources. The rankings determine the order that the categories are presented to a user, and the ordering within each category. The rankings are generated based upon inputs from a user, user preferences, data from a content provider, or external sources.</p> |
