<p>A terminal with a fingerprint recognizer and an operating method thereof are disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a terminal includes a fingerprint recognizer configured to scan and read a user′s fingerprint, and a user authentication module. The user authentication module calculates a matching value between a fingerprint read by the fingerprint recognizer and the user′s registered fingerprint, and determines the matching value and a security level of an application that is requested from the user to be executed, determining whether to execute the requested application. Here, the security level may vary and, for example, the security level varies according to application types or may be randomly set by the user.</p> |
