PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine in which difference in heater temperature occurring between cylinders is suppressed when the same effective voltage is applied to cables and mounted glow plugs.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine 1 equipped with a glow plug 20A with a combustion pressure senor and a glow plug 20B without the sensor is provided, in which: a first plug regression line Lp1 and a second plug regression line Lp2 have a relationship such that a second voltage Vp2x is lower than a first voltage Vp1x as long as a temperature Tx falls within a temperature range Tr; a resistance value RB2a of a second feeder 310B is set larger than a resistance value RB1a of a first feeder 310A; and a first part regression line Lc1 and a second part regression line Lc2 have a relationship such that a total voltage deviation |Vc1x-Vc2x|, which is an absolute value of a difference between a third voltage Vc1x and a fourth voltage Vc2x, is smaller than a 1-2 plug voltage difference (Vp1x-Vp2x) as long as the temperature Tx falls within the temperature range Tr. |
