PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovery method of heavy oil that can efficiently float heavy oil in a solution with less energy than in the past, the heavy oil being separated from oil sand that is a mixture of sand, clay, water and oil and noticed as one of alternative resources of petroleum fuel.SOLUTION: A recovery method of heavy oil in a solution includes a step for irradiating a solution containing heavy oil obtained by separating from oil sand with a supersonic wave after or while supplying carbon dioxide to the solution. Bubbles of carbon dioxide even added with an alkali agent has a larger contact angle on the surface of heavy oil and is easier to adhere to the surface of heavy oil compared with bubbles of air or argon. |
