PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compatibly reduce the contraction degree of a seat without increasing the maximum lift amount of a valve element, and reduce pressure loss to be caused by changing the flowing direction of fuel.SOLUTION: A fuel injection valve includes an injection hole body 60 having an injection hole 60a from which gas fuel is injected, and a seal material 50 mounted on a valve element 40 for closely contacting the injection hole body 60 to close the injection hole. The valve element 40 has a center passage 42 through which the fuel is distributed along a center axis C of the valve element, and a branch passage 43 branching from the center passage 42. The seal material 50 is shaped annularly extending around the center passage 42 to function to seal the fuel distributed through the center passage 42 from the annular inside and seal the fuel distributed through the branch passage 43 from the annular outside. The seal material has a recessed part 50a shaped recessed from an axial virtual surface K1 and a radial virtual surface K2. |
