PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pin-fin type wick structure which provides homogeneous capillary force and permeability, and can be manufactured in a simple manner, and to provide a method for manufacturing the pin-fin type wick structure.SOLUTION: A pin-fin type wick structure 1 is formed by scooping a metal plate 2 in one direction of the metal plate 2 with a cutting tool 5 to form raised tabular fins 4, and cutting the fins 4 by the cutting tool 5 to integrally form a number of raised thin wire pin-fins 3 in matrix arrangement. The distance between the respective pin-fins 3 is set to make a wick structure generating capillary force. |
