PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater sensor that can be installed more easily.SOLUTION: An underwater sensor installed on a water bottom for detecting a physical amount comprises: a sensor part 20 having one or a plurality of detection means formed in a linear shape for detecting a physical amount; an anchor part 10 sinking before installation for fixing one end of the sensor part 20; a buoyancy adjustment part 30 for adjusting a sinking velocity in the water of the other end of the sensor part 20 during installation; and a propulsion part 40 for guiding the sensor in the predetermined direction by applying a horizontal force on the other end of the sensor part 20.
