METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING CONTINUOUS FASTENER CHAIN

Provided is a method for manufacturing a continuous fastener chain with which separation of fastener tape junctions can be prevented without attaching fastener elements at the junctions. The method is provided with: a joining process for forming a junction (P) by joining the back ends of a leading pair of fastener tapes (T) with the front ends of a subsequent pair of fastener tapes (T); a marking process for applying a mark (M) on each of the leading pair of fastener tapes (T); a junction movement process for moving the position of each junction (P) of the pair of joined fastener tapes (T) in the fastener tape (T) conveyance direction; a mark detection process for detecting the marks (M); an element attachment process for attaching fastener elements (E) to the pair of joined fastener tapes (T); and an element-engaging process for engaging the fastener elements (E) of the pair of joined fastener tapes (T).
