Disclosed are a device for generating an application profile and a method thereof. The device for generating an application profile includes: a data collection unit which collects data for analysis from an application providing server and a user terminal through a communications network; an application profiler which calculates values of each of a plurality of predefined analysis components using the collected data for analysis; and a result data generation unit which generates result data including the application profile generated using the calculated values.
