PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet device which prevents ink droplets from wetting a recording medium and spreading on the recording medium and stabilizes the operation of a light source part and a liquid jet head.SOLUTION: A liquid jet device includes: an ink jet head 4 having a nozzle plate 43 where multiple nozzle holes 43a for jetting a liquid are arranged parallel to each other; a laser light source part 60 which outputs a laser beam for heating an ink jetted from the multiple nozzle holes 43a; and a connection optical fiber 71 which propagates the laser beam. The ink jet head 4 and the laser light source part 60 are disposed separated from each other and are connected with each other through the connection optical fiber 71.
