PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beam member for an underrun protector which is effective for improving strength, is light and is excellent in appearance design.SOLUTION: In a beam member for an underrun protector which is fitted to a vehicular frame of a truck, the beam body part of the beam member consists of a hollow cross-sectional shape which is constituted by vertical lateral walls and longitudinal vertical walls made of aluminum extrusion material. A fixing tool for arranging nuts inside the beam body part is included, and, by inserting bolts from the fitting part of the vehicle frame side and screwing the bolts to the nuts, the beam member is fitted to the vehicular frame and a terminal cover member is fitted to the end part of the beam body part. |
