<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a switchgear capable of ensuring sufficient cut-off reliability from a small current to a large current regardless of the direction of a current, even if a small magnet is used.SOLUTION: A switchgear includes a fixed contactor having a fixed contact and a movable contactor having a movable contact, a switching mechanism performing the switching operation of the fixed contact and movable contact, a magnet for extending an arc generated between the fixed contactor and movable contactor when opening the fixed contact and movable contact, and a suction rod having one end extended to the generating part of arc and the other end for bringing the magnet into surface junction via a spacer. The spacer is composed of a member having thermal conductivity lower than that of the suction rod.</p> |
