The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for scanning an access point in a wireless communication system. The method for scanning an access point in a wireless communication system comprises the steps of: transmitting a probe request frame including an identifier for searching for a specific access point; receiving a probe response frame transmitted from the access point related to the identifier; and connecting to the access point having transmitted the probe response frame.
