The present invention relates to novel febuxostat pidolate salt used as an arthrifuge, and a preparation method thereof. The febuxostat pidolate salt of the present invention controls an equivalent and stirring time of pidolate in a specific solvent environment while manufacturing, thereby obtaining novel crystalline salt of optimal ratio with excellent high purity and yield. Also, the febuxostat pidolate salt has excellent chemical purity and manufacturing yield compared to existing febuxostat free-base, has excellent acid, base, and thermal stability and light stability, and has excellent solubility compared to existing febuxostat free-base. Also, the size of particles is more fine and uniform than existing febuxostat free-base. Accordingly, the febuxostat pidolate salt is pharmaceutically useful. |
