<p>The present invention relates to a diagnostic device for an automobile and, more specifically, to a diagnostic device capable of more precisely measuring a sensor signal, not provided from an ECU or demanding higher speed, as well as a signal of the ECU. In addition, the diagnostic device can accurately analyze the cause of a poor state of components by simultaneously receiving a low-speed signal from a communication unit for low-speed signal collection with high correlation and a high-speed signal from a waveform measurement unit for high-speed signal collection and indicating, comparing, and analyzing the change of the signals over time. To this end, the diagnostic device for an automobile comprises: a communication unit for low-speed signal collection which collects diagnostic codes or various signals from the ECU (110) inside a vehicle, transmits a control signal to the ECU (110), and controls core components; a waveform measurement unit for high-speed signal collection which directly transmits the control signal to the components inside the vehicle; a user interface unit which is realized as a keypad or a touch screen, wherein a car model, a production year, and a menu selection signal are entered by a user; and a control unit generating diagnostic information for the vehicle by comparing the diagnostic codes entered from the communication unit for low-speed signal collection (210) with the standard codes stored in a database (260).</p> |
