PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which allows for abnormality determination processing of a measurement system by simple self-diagnosis processing, in a battery controller capable of detecting the state of a storage battery.SOLUTION: A CPU 10 performs self-diagnosis processing for detecting abnormality by determining whether or not a vehicle is in an idle stop state, on the basis of the vehicle operation information and engine operation information acquired. When the engine stops in a vehicle mounting an idle stop function, power is supplied to the electrical components of the vehicle, and thereby a current is supplied from a battery to the electrical components. As a result, the CPU 10 determines that there is an abnormality in the measurement system if the current level is equal to or below a specific value, on the basis of the results of current measurement performed when an ignition 30 is turned on during stoppage of the vehicle. |
