PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric brake apparatus capable of controlling torque optimally.SOLUTION: An electric brake apparatus 10 includes: a motor cylinder device 16 for causing a motor 72 to generate hydraulic pressure in accordance with a braking operation of a driver; a rotation angle sensor 201 for detecting a rotor rotation angle &thetas; of the motor 72; and a motor control part 210 for controlling output torque of the motor 72 corresponding to the rotor rotation angle &thetas; and controlling the motor 72 by angularly advancing a detection value of the rotation angle sensor 201. A current phase setup part 221b sets a current phase on an advanced angle side as electrical advance-angle control. The current phase setup part 221b inhibits an advance angle when reversing the motor 72, or sets a current phase on an advance angle side. In the case of using the electrical advance-angle control and a mechanical offset in which an attachment position of the rotation angle sensor 201 is offset, the current phase setup part 221b sets a current phase in an advance angle side in consideration of the amount of the mechanical offset. |
