PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte and a secondary battery which enable the improvement of incombustibility while suppressing the worsening of a battery performance; and to provide an electrolytic solution for nonaqueous secondary batteries and a nonaqueous secondary battery which are adaptable to even the using conditions of high potential, and high and low temperatures and can deliver the superior performance as described above as required.SOLUTION: An electrolytic solution for nonaqueous secondary batteries comprises: a nonaqueous solvent; an electrolyte; a phosphorus-containing compound (A); and a metal complex (B).
