PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive film and a surface protection film that not only prevent the intrusion of etchant but do not generate adhesive residues on an adherend.SOLUTION: Provided is an adhesive film having an adhesive layer on one face of a resin film substrate, which is characterized in that: the thickness of the resin film substrate is 75 μm or more; the adhesive layer is formed by using an adhesive composition containing an acrylic-type copolymer comprising (A) an alkyl (meth)acrylate monomer having the number of carbons of the alkyl group of C1 to C14, (B) at least one co-polymerizable vinyl monomer selected from a group of hydroxyl group-containing vinyl monomer and nitrogen-containing vinyl monomer, (C) a silane coupling agent, and (D) a cross-linking agent; the adhesive layer is formed by laminating at a thickness of 10 to 35 μm; and the adhesion strength to a glass plate is 0.1 to 1.5 N/25 mm when the thickness of the adhesive layer is 20 μm. |
