PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain lower seal torque than that in a case of using a grease composition, in a seal member which includes an elastic member having a slinger and a seal lip slidably contacting with the slinger.SOLUTION: A seal member for a rolling device includes an elastic member having a slinger and a seal lip slidably contacting with the slinger; is composed of mineral oil or synthetic hydrocarbon oil, or a mixed oil thereof, so as to occupy 5-20 vol.% of a seal internal space; and encapsulates a lubricant composition containing base oil whose kinetic viscosity at 40°C is 10-50 mm, thickener composed of amino acid-based gelatinizer or a benzylidene sorbitol derivative, or a mixture thereof. |
