<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape cassette which enables a person to recognize color information by viewing visual appearance of the tape cassette.SOLUTION: A tape cassette 30 comprises a rear recess 68C provided between an outer periphery and a tape housing region of a cassette case on a rear end side of a base 30B. A rear identification part 900 for identifying the color information about a tape is provided in an identification region R0 included in the rear recess 68C. Out of a plurality of lateral information sections Y included in the rear identification part 900, a lateral information section Y1 comprises at least one of a non-pressing part 901 and a pressing part 902 in a prescribed pattern corresponding to tape color, and a lateral information section Y2 comprises at least one of the non-pressing part 901 and the pressing part 902 in a prescribed pattern corresponding to character color.</p> |
