<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To treat epidermal aging.SOLUTION: The invention provides an epidermal stem cellularity maintenance agent containing Acorus calamus extract as an active ingredient. Epidermal stem cellularity is maintained by an agent of the invention. The dermal aging which can be improved by maintaining epidermal stem cell function, e.g., a delay of cellular turnover, a thinning of an epidermal living cell layer, a wrinkle formation accompanied therewith, and the like, can be treated by the invention. A cosmetic method uniforms skin's texture or maintains dermal moisture by applying Acorus calamus extract to the skin.</p> |
