1. An organic electroluminescence device comprising:
an anode; one or more organic thin film layers including an emitting layer; a donor-containing layer; an acceptor-containing layer; and a light-transmissive cathode in this order, wherein the donor-containing layer comprises a compound represented by the following formula (I) or (II): wherein in the formulas, R1a to R7a and R1b to R7b are independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group including 6 to 60 ring carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted pyridyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted quinolyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group including 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group including 3 to 50 ring carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group including 7 to 50 ring carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy group including 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted aryloxy group including 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted arylthio group including 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkoxycarbonyl group including 2 to 50 carbon atoms, an amino group that is substituted with a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group including 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, a halogen atom, a cyano group, a nitro group, a hydroxyl group or a carboxyl group, and adjacent groups of R1a to R7a or adjacent groups of R1b to R7b may be bonded each other to form a ring; L1a and L1b are independently a single bond or a linkage group; Ar1a and Ar1b are independently a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic group including 6 to 60 carbon atoms; and n is an integer of 1 to 4, and when n is 2 or more, the groups having a phenanthroline skeleton in parentheses may be the same or different from each other. |
