The present invention relates to an adjustable ion sterilization system and a refrigerator thereof. The system comprises an ion generation device and an electric control panel which is used for controlling the ion generation device, and the system also comprises a selection switch, wherein the ion generation device comprises a plurality of pairs of positive and negative ion output ends; and the selection switch is used for controlling the turning on and off of some positive and negative ion output ends. The ion generation device comprises a high-voltage trigger module and a boosting module which are connected, wherein the input end of the high-voltage trigger module is electrically connected to the electric control panel, and the output end of the boosting module is directly connected to a first section of positive and negative ion output ends; and the output end of the boosting module is also connected to a second section of positive and negative ion output ends through the selection switch. The present invention has the advantages of a better sterilization effect, more humanization, less energy consumption, etc.
