According to the present invention, a rankine cycle apparatus includes: a condenser allowing a working fluid to be heat exchanged with a cold heat source to liquefy the working fluid; a compression pump compressing the working fluid which is discharged from the condenser; an evaporator which heat-exchanges the working fluid introduced from the pump with a high temperature heat resource to evaporate the working fluid; a superheated steam generation unit which controls the working fluid introduced from the evaporator into steam of a superheated state using compressed water and steam having a low pressure; and a turbine which generates energy using the working fluid discharged from the superheated steam generation unit as rotational power. The rankine cycle apparatus increases an amount of power generation.
