PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball end mill capable of cutting in a comparatively large notch amount, and capable of reducing an unshaved part, without disconnecting a tool tip shape from a ball shape.SOLUTION: The ball end mill 1 is formed with a circular arc-shaped ball blade 52 in a ball-shaped part 21 of a tool tip part 2 rotated around the axis (x) by avoiding a tip rotational center part, and is formed with a spherical surface-shaped grinding execution surface 6 having surface roughness of (+) point average roughness of Rz≥10 μm and executing grinding processing to a machinable material by irregularity of its surface, in the tip rotational center part by continuing with a flank 7 of a ball blade 52 without a step difference. |
