PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflector and a lamp using the reflector which broadens the range of a bright region without remarkably deteriorating the strength of light of a center part (optical axis neighborhood), so as to illuminate a broader range brightly, at the same time, and reduce the width of a dark region, make curves of light distribution profile smooth, graduate the contour of irradiation light, thereby obtaining the light distribution of less discomfort.SOLUTION: A cross-section shape of a reflection surface 22 is formed, at least on an opening part with respect to the reflection surface 22 of a reflector 14 which reflects light from a luminous body 12, such that, the nearer is a point on the reflection surface 22 through which a tangent line TL100, TL102, TL104 passes to an opening edge 28 of the reflection surface 22, the larger an angle formed between an optical axis CL and the tangent line TL100, TL102, TL104 becomes. Thereby, problems described above can be solved. |
