PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for updating specification data of an elevator capable of saving labor and time required for updating the specification data of the elevator.SOLUTION: A method for updating specification data of an elevator 7 is applied to a management system including a remote monitoring terminal 2 for monitoring the state of the elevator 7 and a control center 1 connected to the remote monitoring terminal 2 through the Internet 9 to manage the specification data of the elevator 7. The method includes the steps of: connecting the remote monitoring terminal 2 and the control center 1; acquiring specification data for updating of the elevator 7 by the remote monitoring terminal 2; operating the elevator 7 by the remote monitoring terminal 2 to detect an operation result of the elevator 7; correcting content of the specification data for updating on the basis of the operation result of the elevator 7 detected by the remote monitoring terminal 2; and updating specification data of the control center 1 to the specification data for updating corrected by the remote monitoring terminal 2. |
