PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine capable of bringing foam into contact with clothes efficiently.SOLUTION: A washing machine includes: an accommodation tub for accommodating clothes; a foam generation part including a housing for generating foam by using a liquid containing detergent; a blower port for blowing air to the foam generation part; and upper and lower exhaust ports for exhausting air to the accommodation tub. The housing defines: a first air passage formed between the blower port and the upper exhaust port; and a second air passage formed between the blower port and the lower exhaust port. The air and foam exhausted from the upper exhaust port (outflow port) are exhausted from a first opening part opened toward the accommodation tub. The air exhausted from the lower exhaust port is exhausted from a second opening part opened toward the accommodation tub. The second opening part is formed below the first opening part, and width in the horizontal direction of the second opening part is made to be equal to or more than width of a lower end of the first opening part, and the width in the first opening part is formed so as to become larger toward the upper part from the lower end. |
