摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheath material for lithium ion batteries which has resistances to battery contents (resistance to electrolyte, and resistance to hydrofluoric acid), and by which no whitening is caused on a sealant layer and an adhesive resin layer when forming a concave portion by cold-shaping a laminate film type sheath material arranged by use of aluminum foil.SOLUTION: A sheath material for lithium ion batteries has at least an adhesive layer 12, an aluminum foil layer 13, an aluminum protection layer 14, an adhesive resin layer 15, and a sealant layer 16 which are stacked on one side of a base layer 11 in this order. The adhesive resin layer 15 includes an acid-modified polyolefin resin, and at least one elastomer of an olefin-based elastomer and a styrene-based elastomer. The content of the at least one elastomer blended in the acid-modified polyolefin resin is in a range of 1-25 mass%.
